8/ CUBE 1,2,3にて開催される「京都・たち吉 since 1752 Luigi Colani 2020 Collection」展示発表会のオープニングイベントとして記念デザイントーク「ルイジ・コラーニのデザイン哲学と「暮らしとうつわ」の関係性」を開催します。当日は、世界的デザイナーのルイジ・コラーニ氏が来日。自身のデザイン哲学について、たち吉とのコラボレーションについて語ります。また、プロダクトデザイナーの廣田尚子さん、雑誌「Discover Japan」高橋俊宏編集長を交えて、コラーニデザインの哲学や「暮らしとうつわの関係性」について考察します。
Design talk session “Design philosophy of Luigi Colani, the ceramics in daily life” will be held on 9th May. Luigi Colani, 85 years old internationally famous industrial designer has been working with TACHIKICHI KYOTO to make a new item for his ceramic series. During the talk session, Colani will introduce his work and philosophy. Moreover product designer Naoko Hirota and chief editor of “Discover Japan” magazine Toshihiro Takahashi will discuss the Colani’s design philosophy and collaboration of Colani and TACHIKICHI.
